Sequoia & Yosemite Trip
July 2020
The view from high up on the side of Moro Rock.
Craig and Ryan on the top of the rock. What a view!
Zoe & her disturbing mask with General Sherman, the biggest tree on earth.
Not even close--Sequoia has by far the best national park entry sign going.
We spent the next day hiking near Mammoth with Ry and his 8-pack.
Group of Jackos in front of an awesome waterfall.
A pulled-back view of the Devil's Postpile. Gotta love nature.
Ryan with the Neowise comet streaking away high above (the one with the wide tail on the left).
The Mammoth Lakes are all pretty big and really  pretty. It was super windy that day.
The next day we rented a boat and cruised around June Lake.
The next day was the crown jewel--a full day in Yosemite.
Ryan getting some sound of the running stream with his new camera.
There's nothing Colorado Craig loves more than a mountain stream.
With Covid rampant, the park had lottery admissions. Amazingly empty.
Craig & Ryan hiked up to get to the base of Yosemite Falls.
An amazing view of Half Dome from halfway up Yosemite Falls.
The view of Half Dome from Glacier Point might be the world's most amazing view.
Craig & Ryan recreate Roosevelt & Muir who stood right about here.
A delicious malted beverage on the balcony of our condo.
At one point we cruised over to try to do some quick fishing. No luck.
Winding around we came to Devil's Postpile--one of the cooler things to see.
Caught this amazing shot of this woman alone with nature. She loved it.
After a long drive and half a day at Sequoia we finally made it to our condo in Mammoth.
Craig with Moro Rock in the back. You know, we should probably climb to the top of that thing.
In the middle of Covid we rolled the dice and escaped to Sequoia & Yosemite.
The sequoia trees are awesome. Redwoods are tall and a thing. These bad boys are tall and wide.
Flip & Zobo goofing off by a tree that's probably older than Caesar.
The view up from the base of these monsters.
The start of the hike up Moro rock. I'm glad there were stairs, cut even that was a bit scary.
Ryan with Zoe fleeing in the background--she'd seen enough and waited for us to come back.
Tunnel View of Yosemite valley
with various shades of trees.
Fun trip.
